The aim of this research was to investigate the influencing factors on students’ evaluation of faculties at Shiraz University, based on students’ viewpoints. Statistical population consisted of Shiraz University students among whom 1220 participants were selected as research sample using stratified random sampling. Research instruments consisted of an open questionnaire. After collecting data related to students’ viewpoints about effective factors influencing faculties’ evaluation, data were analysed using qualitative method of cyclic analysis process. In addition, χ2 test was applied to compare factors and their dimensions frequencies among various students’ groups. Results showed that expertise, personality, relationship with students, faculties’ evaluation of students, and classroom management were respectively highest to lowest influencing factors on students’ evaluation of faculties. However, male and female students’ viewpoints about these five factors were different.
