This research is aimed to design the objects and contents of several optional courses about nanotechnology for undergraduate students of engineering and basic sciences faculty. The research is applied, descriptive and field surveying. The population was all faculty members of universities, Ph.D. and Master students being active in nanotechnology field in academic year of 2013-2014. The sample consisted of 202 individuals that have been selected by purposive, voluntary and hazard sampling method. The tool was researcher made survey questionnaire. Content validity of the survey questionnaire was performed by 10 professors and experts and its Cronbach's alpha was 0.98 which represents an excellent reliability. The data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS software. In inferential statistics, one-sample binomial test, independent-samples Kruskal-Wallis test and one-sample Wilcoxon signed rank test were used. The results showed at the 95% confidence level, all suggested objects are important in the viewpoint of respondents and each suggested content is consistent of its object
